On a personal note…

I would like to say THANK YOU to all of my readers who have continued to look at my blog posts. As you may have noticed, I have not posted since January. But I do have a valid reason for being a little MIA lately: Steven & I are preparing to welcome our first baby!!

Our son, Jonathan Cyrus, will be gracing us with his presence in early August. Jonathan means “God has given” and Cyrus means “farsighted”. We chose these names after two very strong men in the Bible. Jonathan was the son of King Saul & loyal friend to the future King David from whom Jesus’ lineage would continue. Cyrus was a Persian king who sent the Jews back to Jerusalem with plans & finances to help rebuild the temple. Both men are spoken of well in the Bible.

Pregnancy has not kept me from my love of reading. I decided back in December that 2018 would be a year of series. With that said, it takes a bit longer to get through an entire series in order to blog about it. I will tell you that I am on book 5 of the Chronicles of Narnia and LOVING them! Next on the list is to finish up the Heroines Behind the Lines series followed by Anne of Green Gables. So I do hope you continue to check in on the blog.
